so sick

that's me right now.

and, as usual, my allergy to ibuprofen complicates things. i took alka seltzer and had an allergic reaction (it has aspirin, which i am also apparently allergic to). i guess ibuprofen and aspirin allergies go hand in hand, a little tidbit i did not know.

i am now taking mucinex, which is amazing, save for the fact that as soon as i started taking it (last night) i lost my voice almost entirely. coincidence?

i do feel better, but i sound horrible. which also makes interviewing people over the phone, the backbone of what i do for a living, impossible right now.

luckily, i am still able to blog for my new client, and he is really the only one whose work i am doing right now. i have put off two huge projects until i feel at least a little bit better, and took a week off of my biggest client (he was cool about it) to get better.

all i know is, by friday i'm headed to the doctor if i'm not a lot better.
