hello???

is anybody out there? my how the time flies. thanksgiving come and gone. christmas on the way. parties and food and drinks, oh my! i've already started my post-holiday gym going in attempts to avoid gaining any weight, and so far i've had success. i'm sure running again helps a lot. my resolution next year is to be injury free. i may have to make a suit out of bubble wrap. it's finally cold enough that the cats sleep with us at night, and moxie is back to sleeping under the covers (which used to freak me out, but she loves it). i wake up in the middle of the night and mike and both cats are hogging 3/4 of the bed, while i'm clinging to the edge for dear life. mike wonders why i go to bed so early, but partly it's so i can get my share of the bed for at least a few hours until he and the cats come in. i just had the last of the turkey soup i made from the thanksgiving leftovers. we had just the right amount of leftovers, enough for a coupe of dinners/sandies and soup. we also discovered the joy of turkey bacon at the co-op, so that's our new thing on the weekends--pesto scrambles with turkey bacon. yum! of course, i'm hungry (again) now...
