buggin'

we have termites. mike was sitting on the purple chair watching tv and noticed the paint bubbling on the wall where we have some painted-over wood paneling, so he touched the wall and it felt squishy. so he called me in to point it out to me, and we pulled the chair away from the wall, and there were more huge bubbles where the wall was squishy, so we poked into one, and there were termites all over the frickin place. they are so disgusting. we have a bug guy coming out tomorrow to see how extensive the damage is (please oh please let it be contained to that one section of the wall) and then we'll know what we're dealing with. so we had to tape up the holes and i was so grossed out that i washed every stitch of bedding on our bed, dust ruffle and comforter included. thank god our room is at the other end of the house, but i'm still grossed out. the termites have ruined the purple chair for me. i will never feel the same way about it again. i increased my weights yesterday and now i have a muscle pull right in between my shoulder blades that's killing me. mike kept pounding on it during the game yesterday to try to loosen it up, but no luck. good thing i see dr. magale this week and flo next week, so i know there's a light at the end of the pain tunnel.we skipped the gym this morning because mike was up so late last night working, so i even got my run out of the way already for the week. by thursday when i see the chiro, i'll be done with my hard workouts, and then the neck popping and back cracking will be that much better.
