it's not just me

why do i always end up with expensive, high-maintenance cats? i know it's not just me, because our pet sitter is having huge medical issues with her two cats. but still. she thinks it's because the cats need people like us who are willing to spend money on their pets. i think i have shitty luck falling in love with problem cats. mox is on the mend now, but she hates her wet food. and flynn spent all last night scratching on the door where we keep her food because he knew something good was in there. my shoulder is fine now, but my neck feels like i have whiplash. i think it's because i was overcompensating (or it could be the four-mile walk/run on the treadmill yesterday), but if it's still this bad tomorrow, i'm going back to dr. magale so i don't have to suffer through the weekend. why is it that tuesday felt like thursday but today feels like wednesday? i'm all screwed up.
