late night

tonight we're going to see mike's fav bob mould at harlow's and the concert doesn't even start until 9pm, and there's an opener. needless to say, we're hitting capitol garage for coffee before the concert, because that's the only way i will be able to stay awake. and i'm going to miss the l word, so i will have to dvr it and probably watch it when we get home, since it's impossible for me to go right to bed after a concert, even a mellow one. i got us presale tix for death cab when they come to sac mext month, and thank god they're the opener so we can bail after them, since that concert's also on a school night. last week was nuts. after the termite discovery, we had an inspection and then on thursday they came and put the traps everywhere around the outside of the house. i hope it works, but we won't know for a couple of months. then yesterday we went to office max and spent crap loads of money on office stuff i needed, like a real office phone and headset for when i do my interviews, and a file cabinet that won't fall apart, plus odds and ends. all i need now is the crate & barrel bookcase i have my eye on and i'll be set. now i just need to get ready for when we get our taxes done, and things will be grand.
